Form: will + base verb | Neg: won’t + V
Use GOING TO for…
1) Plans/intentions (decided before)
We are going to visit grandma on Sunday.
2) Predictions with evidence (you can see it now)
Look at those clouds! It’s going to rain.
Form: be (am/is/are) + going to + base verb | Neg: be not going to + V

Examples
A: I forgot my pen. — B: I will lend you one. (decision now)

Affirmative

Wh- question

Tip: After going to we use the base verb (no “to” twice): “going to go”.
